We're glad you're here. Welcome to Christ United Methodist Church of Selinsgrove. We’re here to meet real needs in our own community. The vision of Christ United Methodist Church... is bringing people to Christ and transforming our community through God's Love.. Make yourself at home among these pages, browse around and see if God may have something for you here. If we can answer a question, offer prayer, or help in any way, let us know.

Christ UM Church, Selinsgrove Meetup Group

Meetup.com is a website that is designed for individuals to join for a common interest. Some of our CUMC families use this site in home school groups, and it has proven to be a good site for individuals to make plans and meet up. CUMC has purchased a six-month membership to meetup.com and have a page of announcements on the site. Once you log-in as a member (for free), you can see what ministry events and family events are happening – maybe you even want to enter some of your own events for others to join. You can click RSVP and have some discussion about the planning of the event. On the date of the event – everybody meets up.
Jeanette Weaver and Jaime Carpenter  have started the site. They  will enter bulletin announcements, special worship events, children and youth ministry events and small groups, etc. Ministry events outside of our local church may be added as well. But through the summer, we may enter days at the pool, Half-Way Dam or walks up on the new church property- whatever our families are doing. The purpose is to build community and strengthen relationships. When we meet up in informal ways, we can show love and Godly friendship.
